Global Poverty Act: The bill would require the U.S. President to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the United States foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, the elimination of extreme global poverty, and the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day.

Despite the fact that America is already trillions of dollars in debt, Barack Obama’s so-called policy of ‘change’ will actually make America spend even more.

Where do his supporters think this money is going to come from?

Obama bill: $845 billion more for global poverty

Sen. Barack Obama, perhaps giving America a preview of priorities he would pursue if elected president, is rejoicing over the Senate committee passage of a plan that could end up costing taxpayers billions of dollars in an attempt to reduce poverty in other nations.

The bill, called the Global Poverty Act, is the type of legislation, “We can – and must – make … a priority,” said Obama, a co-sponsor.It would demand that the president develop “and implement” a policy to “cut extreme global poverty in half by 2015 through aid, trade, debt relief” and other programs.

When word about what appears to be a massive new spending program started getting out, the reaction was immediate. (Read full article here.)

Is America’s situation really any different from the rise of fascism in Nazi Germany?

There is a growing darkness in the American government, it is apparent, it is being talked about, and it must be stopped before it stops the people – which could be very soon.

But there is no ‘silver bullet’ candidate. America requires far, far more than the flimsy idea of ‘change’. The problem needs to be solved at its roots.

My personal opinion (Obama supporters, please forgive):

Sadly, although Obama’s supporters have the right heart, they seem to be missing the facts.

By that I mean, it seems they haven’t taken the time to take a very close look at what other’s are saying and what’s really going on. They don’t know much about the history, don’t want to believe that something terrible is happening, and don’t take the time to do the research. I say this because, I used to be an Obama supporter too. But I was patient, took the time to look closely and without bias, and as a result I learned more than I could have ever imagined (the purpose of this blog is to help spread that knowledge).

And I know that there’s another candidate who appeals to the real idea of change that Obama preaches and his supporters thirst for. Ron Paul is the candidate who knows the true reality, and true problems, and how to fight and overcome them. He is not a silver bullet, but he has told us exactly what needs to be done, and his supporters understand that as well – end the problem at its roots.

All I ask of Obama’s supporters is for them to take an unbiased look at Ron Paul: watch his videos, know where he stands.

But above all, if anything… Obama’s supporters must understand what it means when people speak about his membership with the Council on Foreign Relations and what it is. Ron Paul is the only candidate now who is not affiliated with this globalist, corporate and special interest group – and that says a lot!

Is Barack Obama a member of the Council on Foreign Relations? Rumor has it that he is, but it’s not official. However, he does get huge support from other members of the CFR. See here for a list of his top contributors. His wife is a member. And he promotes the agenda of CFR (NAFTA, NAU, free-trade).

Please see my comment below.

What is the CFR?

Barack Obama, along side Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, John McCain, and other faces featured by the mainstream media (which the CFR controls) are all members of or affiliated with the CFR and its anti-sovereignty agenda.

It is to no surprise that there is little said about the CFR, the NAU, and these similar organizations and secret agendas. If more people knew, and the word of this really got out, Americans who support the sovereignty, the constitution, the Bill of Rights, and protecting our borders would quickly rethink their support of any of these CFR candidates.

The only candidate still in the race, who is not a member of the CFR, does not support a global agenda, wants to return our values to the constitution and protect our borders and sovereignty… is Ron Paul. No wonder the corporate, CFR-controlled mass media are trying to silence him and keep these truths away from the public.

Barack Obama on Weed

A truth the candidate won’t tell
Steve Chapman | February 4, 2008

It’s a brave position, and therefore exceedingly rare among practicing politicians. Which may be why it didn’t last. Before the day was over, the Obama campaign issued a statement saying he thinks “we are sending far too many first-time non-violent drug users to prison for very long periods of time” but “does not believe that we should treat offenses involving marijuana with a simple fine or just by confiscating the drug.” Recently, he had told a New Hampshire newspaper, “I’m not in favor of decriminalization.”

This episode reveals that as a candidate, Obama is more fond of bold rhetoric than bold policies. But it also proves the impossibility of talking sense on the subject of illicit drugs during a political campaign. That course of action would mean admitting the inadmissible: that the prohibition of cannabis has been cruel, wasteful and fraudulent.

Cruel because it leads to the arrest of nearly 700,000 people a year for mere possession of a substance that is comparatively benign. Wasteful because it expends billions of dollars in police, court and correctional resources that could be deployed against dangerous predators. Fraudulent because it hasn’t solved anything: According to the federal government, nearly 100 million Americans have tried the stuff.

A segment from an article from GOP.com:

In Case You Missed It: Obama’s New Vulnerability

The truth is that Mr. Obama is unwilling to challenge special interests if they represent the financial and political muscle of the Democratic left. He says yes to the lobbyists of the AFL-CIO when they demand card-check legislation to take away the right of workers to have a secret ballot in unionization efforts, or when they oppose trade deals. He won’t break with trial lawyers, even when they demand the ability to sue telecom companies that make it possible for intelligence agencies to intercept communications between terrorists abroad. And he is now going out of his way to proclaim fidelity to the educational unions. This is a disappointment since he’d earlier indicated an openness to education reform. Mr. Obama backs their agenda down the line, even calling for an end to testing, which is the only way parents can know with confidence whether their children are learning and their schools working.

These stands represent not just policy vulnerabilities, but also a real danger to Mr. Obama’s credibility and authenticity. Read on…

Criticism for Barack Obama is growing, and rightly so. Obama has little legislative record and experience as a congressman compared to Ron Paul – who is a 10-term Texas Representative, and who can actually speak of what he will do and has a record to prove his consistent commitment to the constitution.

Lynne Cheney, doing research of the Cheney family tree for her new book, discovered that Dick Cheney and Barack Obama are 9th cousins, once removed.

Obama is also related to the George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, being 10th and 11th cousins once removed – respectively.

And as it turns out, Cheney is also related to the Bushes, but by a completely different ancestor.

So… what does this mean? Apparently, little so far, because this had been the news since October 2007. But like so many other things, I don’t think this should be an issue overlooked or ignored. Why are there so many relationships between the candidates today, those that have already held presidency, and the other super-elites that control America? Some believe in a plot to keep the control within the hands of an ancient bloodline…

Please research and comment.
